H.A.W.X 2 Gameplay Feature: Refueling in Mid-Air

Real fighter jets have a limited combat radius because of fuel. An aircraft can only stay in the air for so long before it must land to fill up the tanks or refuel in the air. While H.A.W.X. 2 does not use fuel as a resource that depletes and must be replenished, we've implemented aerial refueling in the storyline.

H.A.W.X 2 Gameplay Feature: Rearming Your Plane

H.A.W.X 2 will have you fighting a lot of enemies in intense battles. With so many bogies on your scopes, some of them cunning enough to dodge a lot of your rockets, your ammo might run low at times. But keep clear of that "Restart Mission" button, as you'll now be able to replenish your arsenal!

Precision Attacks in H.A.W.X. 2

In today’s warfare, precision is key. “Surgical strikes” are imperative as the frontlines get closer and many times even engulf populated areas where there is a high risk of human casualties or destruction of monuments and important buildings.

We bring this aspect of modern warfare in H.A.W.X. 2 through precision bombs and missiles. These are usable in certain missions where you’re forced to operate in urban environments or around delicate objectives.

Before you enter precision bombing mode, it’s best to set the plane on a safe and high-altitude flight path. The autopilot takes care of keeping the plane level and speed is reduced to enable accurate target designation. Your view switches to an underside camera and you get control of the zoom level. Find the target, aim, fire and rest assured the projectile will hit exactly the ground spot you have designated. Precision strikes are not designed to do a lot of splash damage but they can take out a couple of enemies at once. Such an attack is efficient against all types of ground units, even moving ones if you can anticipate the path and the speed.
