An airplane without a pilot is like a body without a brain. Many times it’s the operator’s intelligence, and not the machine, that turns the tides of wars. This is clear in multiplayer matches, but what about when the human player’s brain goes up against the artificial intelligence in the game?
HAWX 2 brings several improvements to the way enemies behave. They have, and successfully use, many techniques at their disposal to evade your attacks or strike back at you. They have flares and know just when to trigger them. They will pull tight turns to dodge your missiles. They will the terrain obstacles to their advantage. And best of all, the ace enemies will be capable of outmaneuvering you and quickly turn the tables.
So what then, when you become the target? Through advanced maneuvers, enemies will quickly get in a good position to fire at you and always keep you guessing. Some will get up close and personal and use only their cannons so you’ll have to fight with yours and nothing else. Many enemies’ combat behavior will remind you of the players you’ve fought against in multiplayer matches, with very aggressive actions that will definitely surprise you.
